6 Notification of Data Discrepancies profile

When a CDM Notification is created in accordance with the Notification of Data Discrepancies profile of this part of the CDM standard that is sent by a licensee to a licensor in response to a CDM Statement received by the licensee, the following Records shall be communicated in this order:

  1. One CDMH.01 Record.

  1. One or more summary Records of type CDS1.01.

  1. One or more discrepancy Records of type CDD1 that provide data describing:

    1. The type of the discrepancy;

    2. A description of the discrepancy;

    3. The location of the discrepancy in the CDM Statement received by the licensee from the licensor;

    4. A comparison between the data expected and the date found; and

    5. An indication of the potential effect on the relevant royalties that the licensee believes the discrepancy may have; and

  2. One SRFO Record.

 

The Record types are defined in detail in Part 2 of the CDM Standard.

To indicate that a CDM Notification is created in accordance with the Notification of Data Discrepancies profile, the Profile Cell in the CDMH.01 Record shall be set to DataDiscrepancies and the ProfileVersionCell to 2.0.
